Ranchi Desk : The work of Water Treatment Plant in Ranchi will be completed soon. Very soon the residents of Ranchi city will get freedom from the dirty water flowing in the drains. The work of laying pipelines in 9 wards of the city has also been completed. MP Sanjay Seth said the above after inspecting the water treatment plant.

Let us tell you that Ranchi Lok Sabha MP Sanjay Seth had observed and inspected the said project. During this, along with taking complete information from the concerned officials, he also directed to work on this project on a war footing.

Water Treatment Plant in Ranchi

After the inspection MP Sanjay Seth said that with the cooperation of the Government of India, a state-of-the-art sewerage treatment plant has been built in Badgai Lamp at a cost of Rs. 302 crore. Through this, the water of 53 wards of the Municipal Corporation area will become clean and clear and go into the Jumar River.

He said that 370 lakh liters of water will be treated daily in this plant. Also, with the opening of this plant, the city will be freed from pollution and disease. The drains of the city will be cleaned and the Jumar river will be revived.

Water Treatment Plant Construction

Let us tell you that the construction work of this plant was started in 2015 with the cooperation of the Government of India. This plant, which is being built on 5 acres of land, is being prepared with a plan for the next 30 years. Here dirty water will be treated and made clean.

Apart from this, work is going on to convert the remaining solid waste material into cubes and make compost. At present, the work of laying pipelines in 9 wards of Ranchi city has been completed. The tender process for pipeline work in the remaining wards has been completed.

MP Sanjay Seth said that this work was done one and a half years earlier, but the Municipal Corporation is not taking the hand-over. Apart from this, problem is also arising due to lack of electricity connection. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to work on a war footing.

On this occasion, local officials also told the MP that sewerage pipelines will have to be laid under NH 23 and NH 75. NOC will be required for this. Taking immediate initiative, the MP spoke to the Project Director of NHAI and talked about its immediate solution.

Sanjay Seth said that Modi government is working on many such projects, whose positive results we will see in the coming days. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks about a developed India by 2047, all these projects are included in it.

He said that in the coming days, every house of Ranchi city will be connected to the pipeline through this plant, so that the dirty water from every house can get treated from here and go to Jumar river. With this, the people of the city will be free from dirty and smelly drains.

Water Treatment Plant Cost

MP Sanjay Seth said that the state government should also show some proactivity in this matter. Electricity connection should be provided to this plant immediately. The Municipal Corporation should also work actively because after the completion of this plant, the Municipal Corporation is going to get the most relief.

He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this scheme and said that the launch of such a big project will bring a lot of relief to the people of Ranchi Municipal Corporation area. Our Ranchi will also be included among the clean and neat cities of the country.
