He said that it is our priority that women should get respect, equal rights and opportunities. Contribution Of Women Is Important In Silli Assembly Constituency

Sudesh Mahto said that the role of women here in developing, educating and empowering Silli Assembly Constituency is incomparable. With their contribution and cooperation, we will also write the script for the reconstruction of the State.

He said that in the last four and a half years, crimes and violence against women have increased in the state due to the wrong policies and directionless leadership of this Government. This cannot be justified at all.

Government Forgot The Promise Of Free Education To Women Till PhD

Former Deputy Chief Minister Sudesh Mahto said that this Government, which came into power by promising free education up to PhD to women, has forgotten its promise. Besides, perhaps they do not even remember the establishment of women’s colleges in every sub-divisional headquarters.

He also attacked the Government on the issue of lack of teachers. He said that the standard of education has declined due to shortage of teachers. The poor and the deprived have suffered the most. This is not tolerable.

Art And Cultural Building Inaugurated

During this program, former Deputy Chief Minister cum Silli MLA Sudesh Mahto also inaugurated the newly constructed Art and Cultural building in Silli. On this occasion, he said that Art and Culture promotes cooperation, participation, equality, prosperity and harmony in the society. We are proud of our Culture and our main objective is to establish it on the Global Stage and connect more and more youth with this field.

He said that to implement this objective, a World Class Art and Cultural building built in Silli has been inaugurated today. This building will become a powerful platform to promote the Art and Culture of the State and give due respect to the folk artists.

Sudesh Mahto also called upon the youth to join the field of Art and Culture in large number and make important contribution to the coming generation by adopting the Golden Heritage of their own State. On this occasion, many local artists performed their art.
