In a press conference held at Maharaja Agrasen Bhawan, former secretaries of Ranchi Gaushala Nyas Samiti, Jyoti Bajaj and Lalit Kumar Poddar jointly said that Ranchi Gaushala Nyas Samiti is the oldest institution of Ranchi. This organization is working for the promotion of cow breed.

They alleged that politics has been going on in the organization for the last few years, due to which the spirit of service has decreased and work has started for selfish purposes. They said that our elders, uniting the entire society as one family, sowed the seeds of many institutions and established them in the form of a butt tree and efforts were made to include every section of the society in it.

They said that by connecting with this spirit, people from different sections of the society want to join this organization with the spirit of service with all their heart, mind and wealth. But some people of the Trust have considered it as their own property and want to maintain their dominance.

They told that during the year 2019-20, about 135 people had submitted the application form along with the application fee for lifetime membership to the then Secretary. The Trust Board met and approved all the applications and through its treasurer, cut out the receipt for life membership and sent it to the members and also provided them with membership numbers.

Gaushala Nyas Samiti New Election

They alleged that when new elections of the committee were being held in the year 2021, the voting rights of these new members were not given and all the new members who came to present their views in the general meeting were expelled from the meeting on the grounds that they were not members.

More than 100 people of this society were hurt by this. At that time the new members also gave a legal notice to the office bearers and also lodged a written complaint with the Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer, Ranchi. But no action was taken.
