Ranchi News : Preparations for Shri Shyam Dhwaja Padyatra are amost complete. The enthusiasm of the devotees of Khatu Shyam Ji regarding Shri Shyam Dhwaja Padyatra is continuously increasing. This Dhwaja Nishan Padyatra (flag march) is going to be organised on 17th March (Sunday). The poster of Shri Shyam Dhwaja Padyatra has also been released a few days ago.
Shri Shyam Dhwaja Padyatra Committee spokesperson Sanjay Saraf said that as per the tradition of Shri Khatu Shyam Ji of Rajasthan, Shri Shyam Dhwaja Padyatra is going to be organised in Ranchi city on 17th March (Sunday). After completing the entire journey of 17 kilometers, this Padyatra will conclude with Dhwaja Samarpan (flag dedication) at Shri Khatu Shyam Temple located on Harmu Road, Ranchi. Huge enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees for this Padyatra.

Padyatra Will Start From Shri Durga Temple Near Neori (Vikas Vidyalaya) Of Ranchi
Sanjay Saraf said that this Shri Shyam Dhwaja Nishan Padyatra of Baba Khatu Shyam will start from Shri Durga Temple near Neori (Vikas Vidyalaya) of Ranchi. This Padyatra will cover a distance of 17 kilometers by traveling through various routes of Ranchi. It will conclude with the flag dedication at Shri Khatu Shyam Temple located on Harmu Road, Ranchi.
He told that the preparations for this Dhwaja Nishan Padyatra have almost been completed. The 17 kilometer route for the Padyatra has also been marked. This Padyatra will pass through Booti Mod, Bariatu Road, Kachari Chowk and Upper Bazaar. He said that this event is going on in Ranchi for the last two years under the aegis of Shri Shyam Dhwaja Padyatra Committee.

Committee spokesperson Sanjay Saraf said that according to the tradition of Khatu Dham, the devotees of Baba Khatu Shyam dedicate the flag to Khatu Shyam by completing a 17 kilometer Padyatra of his flag. He said that although many Dhwaja Padyatras take place in this holy month, there is great belief and faith behind this Dhwaja Padyatra.
