JCI Jharkhand Delegation Honoured The MLA By Giving Him A Bouquet
Ranchi Desk : A Delegation of JCI Jharkhand has honoured Khijri MLA Rajesh Kachhap. To understand the pain of the journalists and keep their voice in the Jharkhand Assembly, the JCI Jharkhand delegation met the MLA at his residence and presented him a bouquet.
During the meeting with MLA Rajesh Kachhap, National Executive Committee Member of Journalist Council of India, Ashok Jha said that it is a very positive initiative for journalists to raise their issues in the House. MLA Rajesh Kachhap should be praised for this.

After meeting the MLA, Ashok Jha said that the results of JCI’s struggles are now visible on the ground. This is the reason why the attitude of politicians has improved towards journalists. This is a positive sign.
He said that in today’s situation, journalists are facing many serious problems. Journalists are being discriminated everywhere. There are frequent incidents of misbehavior and assault against journalists. But the Government is sleeping with blind eyes. In such a situation, MLA Rajesh Kachhap has shown the way for positive change by raising the voice of journalists.

Let us tell you that Khijri MLA Rajesh Kachhap had raised the issue of implementation of Journalist Protection Act during Zero Hour in Jharkhand Assembly. He had said that not only fake cases are being filed against medium and small journalists, but they are also being attacked recently during news coverage.
Rajesh Kachhap had said that a journalist is the mirror of the society, who performs his duty to show the truth without caring for his life. He also demanded the Government to implement the Journalist Protection Act, constitute a Journalist Commission, give priority to journalists in free insurance, pension and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

JCI National Executive Committee Member Ashok Jha said that our organisation has been making the above demands from the Government for the last 3 years. For this, requests have been made several times to the Chief Minister, the Governor, officials of the Information and Public Relations Department and other Government officials.
He said that we journalists keep raising voice for everyone, but no one wants to come forward to listen, understand and solve our pain. MLA Rajesh Kachhap has expressed our pain before the Government by raising our long-standing demands in the Assembly.

Ashok Jha said that the Journalist Council of India expresses its gratitude to MLA Rajesh Kachhap for the way he has expressed our pain in the House. He said that now the expectations among the journalists have increased and our demands have also gained strength.
JCI National Executive Committee Member Ashok Jha, Jharkhand State Convenor Anshika Ojha, Ranjit Kumar, Chandan Kumar and many other journalists were among those who honoured MLA Rajesh Kachhap with a bouquet on behalf of JCI Jharkhand.
