JCI Jharkhand Thanks MLA

It is worth mentioning that Khijri MLA Rajesh Kachhap had raised the issue of implementation of Journalist Protection Act during Zero Hour in Jharkhand Assembly. He had said that not only fake cases are being filed against medium and small journalists, but they are also being attacked recently during news coverage.

Rajesh Kachhap had said that a journalist is the mirror of the society, who performs his duty to show the truth without caring for his life. He also demanded the Government to implement the Journalist Protection Act, constitute a Journalist Commission, give priority to journalists in free insurance, pension and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

JCI Jharkhand Expresses Gratitude

JCI National Executive Committee Member Ashok Jha said that our organisation has been making the above demands from the Government for the last 3 years. For this, requests have been made several times to the Chief Minister, the Governor, officials of the Information and Public Relations Department and other Government officials.

He said that we journalists keep raising voice for everyone, but no one wants to come forward to listen, understand and solve our pain.
