Ranchi Desk : The old committee of Shri Chaiti Durga Puja Mahasamiti has been dissolved with immediate effect. During the general meeting of the Mahasamiti held in the temple premises on Sunday, it was unanimously decided to dissolve the old committee. A new committee will be formed soon.

Let us inform you that as directed by Kishore Sahu, Chief Patron of Shri Chaiti Durga Puja Mahasamiti, a general meeting of the Mahasamiti was called on February 25, 2024 (Sunday). All the officials and members of the Mahasamiti were asked to compulsorily attend this meeting to be held in the temple premises. During the meeting the decision to dissolve the old committee was taken.

Last year’s income and expenditure account presented during the meeting

Regarding the meeting, ex spokesperson of the Mahasamiti, Naman Bharatiya said that the general meeting of the Mahasamiti started under the chairmanship of Ravi Kumar Pinku. On his instructions, Treasurer of the Mahasamiti, Sanjay Singh (Lallu Singh) presented the accounts of income and expenditure for the year 2023 before the members. It was unanimously accepted and passed by the Mahasamiti.

He said that after presenting the accounts of last year’s income and expenditure, all the present officials and members of the Mahasamiti unanimously approved the decision to dissolve the old committee with immediate effect, except the chief patron group.

Rajkumar Gupta selected to preside over the meeting

Naman Bhartiya told that after the decision to dissolve the old committee, Rajkumar Gupta’s name was unanimously selected to preside over the meeting. During the meeting, Rajkumar Gupta said that after mutual discussion with the Chief Patron of the Mahasamiti, a decision on the formation of a new committee will be taken soon.

At the end of the meeting Nand Kishore Singh Chandel gave a vote of thanks. He said that after mutual discussion, the date of the next meeting of the Mahasamiti will be announced soon.
