ABVP To Raise The Issues Of Incompetent Left And Mission To Improve The Academic Environment Of The Campus
Delhi News : Akhil Bharatiya Vidhayrthi Parishad (ABVP JNU) has announced the candidates to be fielded for JNU Students Union. ABVP will contest for the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Joint Secretary posts of JNUSU.
According to the information received from ABVP, Umesh Chandra Ajmira has been nominated for President, Deepika Sharma for Vice President, Arjun Anand for Secretary and Govind Dangi as the candidate for the post of Joint Secretary.

ABVP Also Fielded Candidates For 42 Councilor Posts
Apart from President, Vice President, Secretary and Joint Secretary, ABVP also announced the names for 42 Councilor Posts in the University. The election for these 42 councilor positions will be held in 16 schools and various special combined centres.
It is worth mentioning that today (Saturday) was the last date for withdrawal of candidatures. The Presidential Debate is to be held on 20th March and the elections are to be conducted on 22nd March.

Introduction Of Central Panel Candidates
Umesh Chandra Ajmira, the candidate for the post of President, is a resident of Warangal, Telangana. He has graduated in Political Science from Nizam College Hyderabad. He completed his Masters Degree and was awarded M.Phil from School of International Studies, JNU. Currently, he is a research scholar at the School of International Studies.
Apart from this, Deepika Sharma, the candidate for the post of Vice President, is a resident of Bhiwani, Haryana. She graduated in Life Sciences from Daulat Ram College, Delhi University. She completed her Masters Degree from School of Environmental Sciences, JNU. Presently Deepika is a PhD scholar at School of Environmental Sciences.

Introduction Of Candidates For Secretary And Joint Secretary
ABVP has nominated Arjun Anand for the post of Secretary. Arjun is a resident of Himachal Pradesh. He graduated in Geography from Government Degree College, Dharamshala, Masters in Political Science from Punjab University and Masters in Philosophy from Central University of Himachal Pradesh. Currently Arjun is a research scholar at the Special Center for North East Studies.
ABVP’s candidate for the post of Joint Secretary, Govind Dangi, is a resident of Madhya Pradesh. He graduated in B.Sc Agriculture from Allahabad Agriculture Institute. He completed his Masters Degree in International Studies and Area Studies and M.Phil in American Studies from JNU. Presently Govind is a research scholar at the School of International Studies.

ABVP JNU’s Secretary Vikash Patel said that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad will work towards the improvement of infrastructure, safety of students, fair and strong representation, and providing low cost education in the University.
