Smugglers Arrested In Sahibganj – Know What Expensive Thing They Had! Big Racket May Be Exposed

Sahibganj News : Sahibganj District Police has arrested two smugglers on the basis of secret information. 50 packets of narcotic drug ganja have been recovered from them. Along with arresting them, the police also confiscated their bike and two mobile phones.

According to information from Police sources, the weight of the recovered ganja is approximately 150 grams. It is being quoted at a high price in the market. On the basis of secret information received by Sahibganj Superintendent of Police, a special team of Police conducted a raid and arrested the accused.

Smugglers Arrested In Sahibganj

SDPO Sahibganj said that both the smugglers were arrested with 50 packets of ganja under Rajmahal Police Station area. The names of the arrested accused are Ramchandra Mandal and Chhotu Ravidas, residents of Mangalhat Garhtalab. The bike and two mobile phones in their possession have also been confiscated.

According to the SDPO, the process of taking both the smugglers into judicial custody and sending them to jail is going on. In this case, an FIR has been registered under Section 20 of the NDPS Act in Case Number 35/24 on the statement of Police Station in-charge Ghulam Sarwar.

SDPO said that both the smugglers were going to supply ganja on the bike. Sahibganj Superintendent of Police had received secret information about this. On his instructions, the Police started checking the vehicles under Anti-Crime Checking. During this investigation, these smugglers were caught by the Police. The Police has taken them into custody and started the interrogation.

Raids are also being conducted on their information. Senior Police Officers hope that the mobile phones of the arrested smugglers can expose a big smuggling racket. Apart from the SDPO, the Police raiding team included Police Inspector Shyamlal Hansda, Station in-charge Ghulam Sarwar and ASI Arvind Kumar Das.
