CPI Announces To Contest Alone On 8 Seats In Lok Sabha Elections! Left Grand Alliance

Ranchi Desk : Communist Party of India has opened its cards for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. The party has announced to contest Elections on 8 Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand. The decision was taken during the meeting of CPI Jharkhand State Executive Committee at the State Office located near Albert Ekka Chowk, Ranchi. The meeting was presided over by Comrade Bhuvaneshwar Prasad Mehta.

Let us tell you that the Communist Party of India (CPI) was already busy preparing for the Elections on these Lok Sabha seats. During the meeting, it was decided to contest the Elections with full force to oust the Bharatiya Janata Party from power.

Lok Sabha Election In Jharkhand

During the CPI meeting, former MP Bhuvaneshwar Prasad Mehta and Party State Secretary Mahendra Pathak announced that Party will contest from Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Chatra, Palamu, Giridih, Dumka and Jamshedpur Lok Sabha Constituencies. He called upon the party workers to enter the electoral fray with full strength.

Attacking the BJP, they said that today unemployment and inflation are at their peak in the Country. BJP is changing candidates to hide its failure of last 10 years. Tickets of famous MPs of the Country were also canceled. BJP is completely scared.

Lok Sabha Election Preparation

Former MP Bhuvneshwar Prasad Mehta and Mahendra Pathak said that Congress should fight the Elections unitedly under the Grand Alliance to oust BJP from power. BJP has announced its candidates, but Congress and the Grand Alliance have not yet held any talks regarding the seats.

They said that CPI has now given up waiting for INDI Alliance and has announced to contest Elections in 8 Lok Sabha Constituencies. The Congress Party is trying to strengthen the BJP by delaying the selection of candidates. Therefore, CPI has decided to contest Elections in 8 Lok Sabha Constituencies with its own strength.

Lok Sabha Election Dates

During the meeting, it was decided that the names of the candidates would be announced by the Party after 16th March. Candidate Selection Committee, Manifesto Committee and Social Media Committee were also formed to conduct the Elections. The leaders of the Party’s Executive Committee have also been given important responsibilities.

On this occasion, former MP Bhuvneshwar Prasad Mehta, State Secretary Mahendra Pathak, General Secretary of All India Tribal Mahasabha Pashupati Kaul, National Council Member Kanhai Mal Pahadia, Pramod Kumar Pandey, Mahadev Ram, KD Singh, Jitendra Singh, Ambuj Thakur, Ganesh Prasad Singh, Sujit Ghosh, Ganesh Mahato, Banwari Sahu, Shambhu Kumar, Kalam Rasidi, Prof. Anwar Hussain, Swayam Paswan and Ajay Singh and many members of the Executive Committee were present.
