Ranchi Desk : On the initiative of Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, Nutrition Kits will be distributed to pregnant women. This scheme is being supported by GAIL India. Under this, Nutrition Kits will be given to 2500 pregnant women.

While expressing his views with journalists, MP Sanjay Seth said that with the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a program against malnutrition has been started in Ranchi. He said that on his (Sanjay Seth’s) initiative, under this program, Nutrition Kits will be distributed among pregnant women courtesy of GAIL India Limited.

MP Was Trying For This Initiative For A Long Time

MP Sanjay Seth said that he had been trying for a long time to provide Nutrition Kits to pregnant women. Great success has been achieved in this direction. Through GAIL India’s CSR, more than 2500 Nutrition Kits will be distributed among pregnant women of Ranchi Lok Sabha Constituency.

He said that this Nutrition Kit includes many such ingredients including cow’s ghee, dry fruits laddus, protein powder, different types of nutritious seeds, laddus made from coarse grains, which are considered important from the health point of view of pregnant women and their fetus.

Kit Has Been Prepared Completely On The Advice Of Doctors

Sanjay Seth said that this is a kit prepared completely on the advice of doctors. The list of its beneficiaries has been prepared. According to this list, it will be distributed in Ranchi, Hatia, Kanke, Ichagarh, Silli and Khijri Assembly Constituencies of Ranchi Lok Sabha Constituency.

He said that slogans like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao by Prime Minister Narendra Modi inspire us to work on such areas. It was with his inspiration that I made this effort, which has now been successful. The MP said that the price of one set Nutrition Kit is around Rs. 2500.

The MP said that a target has been set to provide this kit to about 2500 women in the first phase. It will be increased further in the second phase after the elections. He said that he will continue to strive for such work in future also.

On this occasion, many dignitaries including Ranchi MLA CP Singh, Ranchi Lok Sabha Constituency in-charge Sanjeev Vijayvargiya, Ranchi Mahanagar BJP President Varun Sahu, Ranchi Rural District President Surendra Mahato, former Rajya Sabha MP Ajay Maru, former MLA Ram Kumar Pahan were present.
